Ink For A Cause: Rangcharitra's Success Story
Rangcharitra, a free tattoo initiative organized by us, was a resounding success. We conducted the program on the 10th, 11th, and 12th of March 2023 at Charni Road to raise funds for a noble cause: supporting underprivileged children who lack the basic necessities of life. The initiative was our unique way of giving back to society and providing a platform for tattoo enthusiasts to get inked for a good cause. The event was attended by over 400 people who contributed to making it a grand success.
The response to Rangcharitra was overwhelming, with 410 people participating in the event over the three days. The participants included tattoo enthusiasts and philanthropists who wanted to contribute to a good cause. We asked the participants to donate art supplies (stationery, paint brush sets, etc.) in exchange for tattoos, all of which went to the different orphanages. This was a small gesture that went a long way in making a difference in the lives of underprivileged children.
All the artists of Sam Tattoo India volunteered their time and skills to the cause. They showcased their unique designs and did minimal/flash tattoos (no customization) for the participants. The artists’ commitment and passion for the cause were evident in the quality of their work. Their professionalism and creativity made the event a memorable experience for everyone involved.
The success of Rangcharitra was not just limited to the number of participants but also extended to the media coverage it received. The event was featured in ANI, The Print, Midday, and many other websites, which helped spread awareness about the cause and attracted more people to participate. The media coverage also helped highlight our efforts and the impact of our work on society.
The success of Rangcharitra has shown that even small gestures can make a big impact. The initiative has inspired many people to come forward and contribute to society in their own way. The event was not just about getting a tattoo; it was about making a positive difference in society and help an upcoming artist.
